Delete your Task Treasure account
You can delete your account at any time, in the app or by email. This page explains both ways and what happens to your data.
In the app
Open Task Treasure and go to Profile, then Settings, then Delete account. Choose a reason and confirm.
Without the app
- Send an email from the Google account you use in Task Treasure to [email protected].
- Use the subject "Delete my Task Treasure account". Adding a reason is optional.
- We reply to confirm. Your request starts once you confirm it.
We act only on requests sent from the email address linked to the account.
What we delete
- Your name, email address, profile photo and Google account ID
- Profile details such as date of birth, gender, mobile number and interests
- Device identifiers and notification tokens
- Support messages, attachments and task proofs
- Your settings, referral code and team membership
What we keep
- Records of coin transactions and redemptions, with your name, email and other contact details removed, for as long as tax and accounting laws require
- Encrypted backups, which are overwritten within 30 days
Before you delete
- Any coins left in your account are forfeited, and pending redemptions are cancelled. Redeem eligible coins first if you want to use them.
- Deletion happens after a short grace period, shown when you make the request. You can cancel during that period.
- After the grace period, deletion cannot be undone. Your personal information is removed within 30 days of your confirmed request.
